WHY VOTE?
NOVEMBER 3rd and BEYOND

Why? Because we are a Movement for Wholeness in a fragmented world. And because there is nothing more powerful than a “moment whose time has come”. Martin King was right, “The Church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state. It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool. If the church does not recapture its prophetic zeal, it will become an irrelevant social club without moral or spiritual authority.”
Eradicating Racism must be paramount as we move from brokenness to wholeness. We can never become whole until every person is valued as having been created in the image of God. If one race feels devalued and/or silenced and the unfortunate “have-nots” are being systematically denied their value and voice by the “haves”, chaos will continue to be normalized. We must intentionally and purposefully converge at this crossroad to speak and represent truth boldly, as we all seek to replicate the Kingdom of God through Anti-Racism and Reconciliation!
In a world fractured by inequality, we bear witness to the hope that comes through active solidarity and committed action. We must listen to the cries of the oppressed, challenge unjust structures, and work collaboratively toward a society where justice and dignity are accessible to everyone
Let our faith be visible in our actions and let our lives be a testament to the promise of liberation. Together, we are called to be a prophetic voice—shaping a world that reflects God's love, justice, and commitment to the common good for all people. We continue this work by galvanizing the Christian Church in the Southwest in steadily moving beyond the surface level of Anti-Racism and Reconciliation work as we acknowledge and gain momentum in our “Unfinished Business”.

Voter Registration Information
Registering to vote in Texas is easy! So long as you are eligible, you will be able to register to vote in your county of residence to make your voice heard in local, state and federal elections.

Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30th day before Election Day. The voter registration deadline for the November 3, 2026 Uniform Election is October 5, 2026.
To confirm your voter registration status, you can visit the Texas Secretary of State’s Am I Registered?’ portal, which allows you to look up your voter registration record in the statewide voter registration database.
Voter registration in Texas is county-based, so we encourage you to contact your county voter registrar for specific questions regarding the status of your voter registration.
Texans who have recently changed their name or moved can easily update their voter registration online through Texas.gov. Click here to update your voter registration information online.
Please note: The United States Postal Service (USPS) has made adjustments to their transportation operations. As a result of those changes, some mail pieces will not be postmarked on the same day that the mail piece is collected by a carrier or deposited at a Postal Service retail location.
This may affect postmark dates for voter registration updates submitted by mail.
Voters can ensure that a postmark is applied to their voter registration application, and that the date on the postmark matches the date of mailing, by visiting a USPS retail location and requesting a manual (local) postmark at the retail counter when presenting their voter registration application. Manual postmarks are provided free of charge.
We recommend that voters submit their voter registration application as soon as possible to ensure the postmark date is on or before the required deadline.

Online registration deadline: 28 days before Election Day
New Mexico offers online registration. This is often the fastest way to register to vote or update your registration, including changing your name or address, and for some states, political party. New Mexico’s election website may have information translated into multiple languages.

Register or update registration by mail
Mail-in registration deadline: Must be postmarked 28 days before Election Day
You can use New Mexico’s mail-in registration form to register for local, state, and national elections for the first time or update your registration with a new name or address, and for some states, political party.
You’ll need to print the form, fill it out, and mail it to your state election office. You’ll need access to a printer and a postage stamp.
